This was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time. My friend ordered fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, and her order came out exactly the way it was supposed to. I asked for the same type of meal, except I wanted shell pasta instead of fettuccine and sausage instead of chicken. The lady taking the order said that was fine, so I expected to receive shell pasta with Alfredo sauce and sausage. That is not what I received at all. When we got home and I opened the container, there was absolutely no Alfredo sauce in my food. Instead, they put some kind of tomato sauce on parts of the pasta. There was barely even enough of that sauce to cover anything, and most of the shell pasta was completely plain and dry. On top of that, there was only one sausage in the entire order. The picture shows exactly how bad it was. The large aluminum container on the right is what the meal originally came in. I tried to separate the small amount of pasta that had any tomato sauce or sausage mixed with it and put that into the container on the left. What remained was a huge amount of plain shell pasta because the restaurant completely failed to prepare the meal I ordered

A very cute spot we dropped in for soon after opening. We were welcomed in and promptly greeted with menus and water glasses. We ordered a calzone and a medium gluten free pizza. To say the food was above expectations is an understatement. The gluten free pizza wasn't like the usual frozen disk that often comes with pizza places just trying to be inclusive, and the calzone was stated to be the best he'd ever had. There was care and consideration put into packaging the leftovers, and paying was seamless. We were sent off warmly with well wishes for our pregnancy and the family business vibes were even stronger seeing photos of family decorating the entrance as we left. We absolutely plan to be back and hope to see far more of Demetrio's.

This place is so good! We ordered multiple different types of pizza, mozzarella sticks, and garlic bread. The food is so delicious, and reasonably priced. The service was great and everyone was super nice. I highly recommend this place.

I didn’t eat there but having been ordering from there for over 2 decades. Was trying to come off Siesta Key traffic backed up 30 minutes. I called to asked if they could hold off. 5 minutes after I called (they said 30). The girl on the phone was so rude. Said we will hold it for you. It’s been an hour since my husband left. Still no pizza. It’s going in the garbage and I will order from there again. Which is usually 2 a month.
